                                       Description
 

The building consists of two restored ex-fisherman's cottages located in the village of Carteret close to the town of Barneville.  The building contains two self contained cottages (only one available for let at the present time).  Carteret is located on the Cotentin peninsular of Normandy which faces the Channel Islands. 

The cottages are only about 40 minutes drive from the port of Cherbourg which has regular ferry services to the UK.  Click here for further details of transport links to Carteret.

The cottage can sleep up to 6 people. It has the following rooms:

Ground Floor

  • Main bedroom
  • (double bed)
  • Bathroom (with bath and shower)
  • Toilet
  • Entrance lobby

First Floor

  • Kitchen
  • Living area
  • Sofa bed (sleeps 2)
  • TV

Mezzanine

  • 2 single beds

Location

The cottages are located just a five minute walk from the marina and ten minute walk to the centre of Carteret which has restaurants, shops and a bakery.

Carteret's superb sandy beaches are a pleasant walk further along from the shopping area or can be reached in five minutes by car.
